The Donkey Society of Queensland was formed in 1984 and is a member of the affiliated Donkey Societies of Australia. It’s mission since has always been to raise the status, improve the care and promote the use of donkeys. We encourage, educate and help those interested in donkeys, mules and their associated activities and support showing and driving classes for donkeys and mules at agricultural shows, allowing the general public to see donkeys at their best. Besides our regular meetings, we hold different donkey workshops which are always a great fun day out. The Society publishes a very informative member newsletter, the “Donkey Express”, which includes lots of up to date information and interesting articles.
